JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Firm
We are a busy mid-sized firm operating in a growing community less than one hour from Edmonton. We provide an excellent learning environment and mentorship program for our articling students. Our diverse range of work will help you gain the wide knowledge and experience base needed to excel in CASB and on the UFE. We provide extensive experience to our students in audit, income tax and business advisory services.

We currently employ 32 staff including 10 students in various stages of the CASB program.

Your Role
You will be challenged with interesting assignments which include small sole proprietorship to larger corporations and non-profit organizations. Our training approach allows you to work through entire files from start to finish. You will become confident in dealing with clients, analyzing financial statements and preparing income tax returns. You will improve your business writing and advisory skills as you write management letters to your clients.

Your learning opportunity is enhanced by individualized training by managers and partners.

Compensation Package
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including paid overtime, paid study days and CASB fees, $1,000 moving or clothing allowance and opportunities for professional advancement.

We currently employ 32 staff including 10 students in various stages of the program.

Your Role
You will be challenged with a variety of interesting assignments from small sole proprietorships to large corporations and non-profit organizations. Our training approach encourages you to work through entire files from start to finish. You will become confident in dealing with clients, preparing and analyzing financial statements and preparing income tax returns. You will improve your business writing skills as you write management letters to your clients.

Your learning opportunity is enhanced by individualized training by managers and interaction with partners.

Our students enjoy interaction with other team members and many fun events on-going throughout the year, including end of season parties, slow pitch, golf tournaments, Christmas party, and ski trips.
