I
was born and raised a Vegreville girl, growing up on a
farm. Then moved to Edmonton to follow my career choice
of Travel Consulting. I graduated from Grant MacEwan College’s
two-year travel program and moved to St. Paul to join
my (at that time) fiance. We lived there for a little
over two years and moved back to Vegreville and have been
here ever since. My husband Greg and I have been married
for twenty-three years and have two boys, Grayson 21 and
Nicholas 18. Both are away from home which makes are lives
now quiet. Grayson was at U of A enrolled in Education
but has decided to change careers and try out Nait’s
Television and Radio Arts program. Nicholas left home
at 16 to follow his dream of playing hockey with the WHL
for the Medicine Hat Tigers and complete high school.
Both boys enjoyed most sports, which kept our lives very
busy driving all over Alberta and neighboring provinces
to cheer them on. Greg is a manager for Telus and is now
commuting to Edmonton, with the Vegreville office closing.
As
mentioned above the travel business is what I have always
done. In addition attending numerous travel related courses
and seminars. So my new venture with Wilde & Company is
a welcome change, although still doing some travel from my
home based business.
I
enjoy watching my youngest play hockey, meeting my oldest
for dinner in Edmonton, decorating my home, refinishing furniture,
working in my yard, travel, and painting. Also walking my
dog and spending time at the cabin.
