Curtis
is married to Dee Anna. They have two children - Natasha
and Jonathon.
Curtis
is an active community member. He currently sits on the
Economic Development board for the Town of Vegreville
and has been on the executive and is a Past President
for the Vegreville and District Chamber of Commerce.
When
not at the office, Curtis enjoys spending time with his
family, being active with sports and pursuing personal
interests. Curtis is involved with farming which assists
in understanding and advising his agricultural industry
clients.
Curtis
articled for a national firm in Edmonton and then spent 7
years in industry before returning to public practice at Wilde
& Company in 1996. While in industry Curtis spent time
as the regional controller for a large mining and manufacturing
company and as the controller for a Western Canadian sporting
goods retail chain.
He
has over 21 years of experience and offers his clients a broad
range of business expertise including tax, accounting, finance
and general business counsel. Some level of leverage (debt)
is healthy and necessary in business. It provides capital
to fund operations or expansion. In today's capital markets
it is often the lowest cost source of funding.
